Striker Gary Madine is pushing for a recall to the starting XI having made way for Jay Bothroyd during last Friday's defeat at Brighton.

Madine is likely to partner the on-loan QPR striker with Rodri dropping to the bench.

Fellow loanee Ross Barkley is also expected to be handed his full debut in midfield on his first appearance at Hillsborough.

Injured duo Lewis Buxton (hamstring) and Chris Lines (groin) are still out.

Huddersfield boss Simon Grayson expects Danny Ward to be fit but Adam Hammill is a doubt.

Lee Novak and Sean Scannell replaced the pair respectively and may deputise again if called upon.

But Grayson is hoping to name the same starting XI that edged past the Rams to extend their unbeaten run to four matches.

The Terriers have moved within a point of the play-off places and could record back-to-back victories for the first time this season at Hillsborough.

Huddersfield Town will take part in their first Yorkshire derby of the season when they travel to Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow night.

Wednesday were well beaten against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon and Huddersfield manager Simon Grayson is wary of a reaction from the Owls.

"Hillsborough is a fantastic arena to play football and it is a local derby - so it has all the ingredients to be a brilliant game of football," Grayson told the club's official website. "Hopefully we can replicate a similar standard of performance from the weekend and gain a positive result.

"They will be hugely disappointed losing the way they did against Brighton – they haven't been used to losing games under Dave Jones. He has put together a strong competitive team that has pace in the wide areas."

 Sheffield Wednesday

• Dave Jones' side have lost their last two, both away, but are pursuing a seventh successive home league win.

• The Owls have conceded two or more goals in each of their five Championship matches to date.

• Goalkeeper Chris Kirkland is set to make his 200th career league appearance.

Huddersfield Town

• The Terriers are unbeaten in four league games (W2, D2), but are without victory in five away since their victorious trip to Leyton Orient on 3 April.

• Huddersfield need to score one goal to take their total away from home in second level league games to 800.

• Simon Grayson's side are the only club not to have conceded in the first-half of a Championship game this season.
