Lantie says she was stunned to be in the bottom three, but she just knew she was going home. The rest of the designers seem pretty surprised that Beatrice was the first to be eliminated. Ven thought he had the strongest look and is confused about why Christopher got the win.
Heidi Klum has gathered all the designers together. Heidi tells us that, thanks to his win last week, Christopher will have immunity in this week’s challenge. Heidi then sends the designers off to Dylan’s Candy Bar to learn about this week’s challenge.
This week will be the “unconventional materials challenge.” The designers will have access to everything inside of Dylan’s Candy Bar (queue product placement) and can make anything they want.
Their budget is $250, but everything in the shop is 50% off, so essentially they can spend $500. That’s a lot of candy!
In addition to candy, Dylan’s has some actual garments, like t-shits, in the store as well as other fabric items such as pillows. Buffi and Kooan think that taking the easy route and using fabric is a bad idea, but some of the other designers, like Christopher and Andrea, seem to disagree based on their purchases.
The Freegan wants to create a modern Jackie O outfit. Buffi is going for a colorful circle dress. Elena plans to go with her usual futuristic silhouette. Alicia is doing a one shoulder coverall. Andrea is working on a Victorian sort of apron.
Kooan is weaving a sweater dress out of twizzlers. This kooky candy challenge seems like it would be right up his alley.
anti tells us that four years ago she was about to open her own store, but then the economy tanked. /rant Not to be insensitive, but I’m kind of getting tired of hearing every person on one of these reality shows that has a failed business blaming it on the bad economy. /endrant Dmitry thinks Lanti isn’t pushing herself far enough in this challenge.
Ven tells us that he knows he’s a good designer and that he has a bunch of awards to prove it. He is here to win! He’s in it to win it dawg!

We get to know the designers and we love them or love to hate them. There's the "king" of glamour designer Austin Scarlett. Mr. Rock N Roll Jay. The most consistent designer Kara Saun. Newcomer Nora.
