The series was created by Michael Patrick King and Whitney Cummings for Warner Bros. Television. On October 5, 2011, CBS gave a full-season order to the freshman comedy.
On March 14, 2012, CBS announced that 2 Broke Girls would return for a second season during the 2012–2013 television season, moving to the 9:00 pm timeslot behind new comedy Partners and before Mike & Molly.
It is sad to see a channel like CBS have such poor editing quality. I am no critic but when Im watching a show I don't want to get confused about what's going on. When the girls are watching the movie, the girls end up going from one movie in the theater to another without any knowledge of (us the viewer)knowing they would be moving to a new theater.
The people in the back ground changed. Very poor editing. Then apparently they went back to the nerds and the superhero movie. Not sure what CBS Is doing but this is probably why shows keep getting cut. I enjoyed watching this show but have deleted it from my DVR and won't be watching this show any longer.
