With Ivy’s help, Chuck discovers there is evidence incriminating his father in illegal activities and enlists the help of Nate to retrieve it. Based on the popular book series of the same name, this drama gives viewers a peek into the world of privileged teenagers on an elite private school in New York City.
Gossip Girl delves into the world of upper-class privilege and wealth of prep school teens on Manhattan's Upper East Side -- a world where secrets are hard to keep with the all-knowing Gossip Girl (voiced by Kristen Bell), a blogger with an unknown identity, following and recording their every move.
Gossip Girl continued its shortened sixth and final season this week with “High Infidelity.” The episode opened where our favorite Upper East Siders are most comfortable; naked in bed before/ after sexin’ it up. While Serena (Blake Lively) attempted to make her return to the New York social scene as a grown-up (what a joke), Nate (Chace Crawford) and Blair (Leighton Meester) took things way back to high school.
Meanwhile, Chuck (Ed Westwick) continued his wild goose chase in an attempt to ruin his father for good, and Dan (Penn Badgley) recovered from losing his book deal with the help of the ever-ready Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg).
Do these people still go to school, or has that ship sailed? Obviously, Serena’s all growed-up nowadays and everyone knows big people can’t go to college or get jobs. Honestly, watching the other characters struggle with big business ventures and building legacies, however crazy and juvenile things can get, only makes Serena Van Der Woodsen look all the more ridiculous for thinking she can skip from creating a life for herself right to being a philanthropist.
This week, Serena was someway somehow put in charge of hosting a gala for the Central Park conservation effort.
I use to watch this show every now and then but 2 days ago I decided to hire the first season now I'm nearly finished the second! It made a good impression on me. If you like teenage girls, drama and slightly predictable shows with also a bit of unexpected story lines then this is the show for you..Oh and catty girls!
I have no problems at all with this show... It has its humour as well as all the drama which is good. I love and then also hate the characters, they can be your fav one minute then the next the plot changes and turns you to like somebody else! ex: Jenny goes from nice to mean to nice..But overall I'd say this is in the top 3
