The Bhoys won the only previous game contested between the two.

The only previous meeting between Celtic and Ross County at Parkhead was back in January 2004, over five years ago, with Celtic running out comfortable 2-0 winners in a Scottish F.A. Cup match.

Kris Commons (thigh) and Anthony Stokes (ankle) remain out but James Forrest might be available following a hamstring problem, which has kept him out since the defeat by Kilmarnock on October 27.

Ross County manager Derek Adams will assess the fitness of several players who were suffering from the cold this week ahead of their visit to Parkhead.

But Mark Corcoran, Gary Glen and Paul Lawson all played 90 minutes for the under-20s in midweek and are pushing for action.

Martin Scott remains out after ankle surgery while Adams this week released fringe players Russell Duncan, Kurtis Byrne, Joe Malin and Jon Bateson.

Ross County manager Derek Adams : "It's a terrific venue. We're looking forward to it. It's going to be a terrific occasion for Ross County going there as an SPL side.

"We've played Celtic already this season, performed very well. They've had a great Champions League campaign so far. They've got quality throughout their squad.

"We'll see how we can do on Saturday. We'll go there in a positive frame of mind, we'll try and cause Celtic problems and see where it goes from there.

"If we can quiet the crowd down and stay in the game for as a long as possible then we'll have a good afternoon."

Celtic manager Neil Lennon : "I thought we played well against St Mirren - probably as well as we have played for a while at home.

"We are in a good vein of form, the boys are training well.

"Ross County are having a terrific season. They have got goals in them, they have no fear of playing anybody.
"Derek has instilled a great ethos at the club with George (Adams).

"But it's a game I want to win and try to widen the gap at the top. We are four wins on the bounce and I want to keep that going."
