The visitors have won 26 of the 72 previous games, with the hosts winning just 22.

Dundee striker Steven Milne could come back into contention for the the game.

Milne has missed the last three games through a stomach muscle injury.

St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas : "We have to recover right and look at the players, we were looking tired in the last 10-15 minutes [against Inverness].

"The next game is huge for us, we want to sign off with a home win before the break."

Dundee manager Barry Smith : "We have to be much better against St Johnstone than we were in the Aberdeen game. That goes without saying.

"That's everybody's aim and it's up to us to go out there and make sure that we are much improved.

"We can try to rectify things by giving a much better display and hopefully getting the three points."
