Online Watch Castle Full Episode Watch Stream HD Video on Internet TV.This year’s notable entry - Castle, where a dead Santa falls from the air, interrupting a family’s night of playing in the snow. Ol’ Saint Nick’s death is taken especially hard by Castle (Nathan Fillion), whose cup of holiday cheer has been tainted by a family that seems to be outgrowing his boyish love of their Christmas traditions. With Martha (Susan Sullivan) set on spending Christmas Eve with friends and a double batch of 100-proof and Alexis’ (Molly C. Quinn) plans to ice skate with a boy of the non-friend variety, Castle’s last hope for a Merry Christmas Eve is Beckett (Stana Katic), who evades the subject like the Bubonic Plague.Castle isn’t the only one at the precinct having a blue Christmas. Gates (Penny Johnson) adds to her Grinch-esque demeanor by bemoaning the arrival of her mother-in-law for the holidays. Esposito (Jon Huertas) goes to all lengths not to be alone on Christmas, including a failed proposition to coroner Lanie Parish (Tamala Jones). Meanwhile, Ryan’s (Seamus Deaver) naughty nighty gift for his wife might seem a bit shallow, but it turns out he’s thinking deep thoughts about whether or not they should start a family, given the sad state of the world.
As for James Edmund Smith, the man behind the Santa suit, it’s difficult for the team to decide right off the bat if he’s naughty or nice. Smith is a Santa for hire who has been helping his neighbors with a class action lawsuit, but all the evidence points to him being involved in a bank heist just before his death. He was hired as the Santa for the company Christmas party, but took off with a $30,000 clock without ever being discovered.
The story takes a sharp left turn when they discover Smith used to be a part of the company he’s now working to sue. He broke into the bank hoping to steal files, but only managed to grab the clock; enough evidence to put his old partner behind bars even if it meant Smith would face charges. The one person who couldn’t live with that was Smith’s ex-wife. She’s the one who shot him in the back as he was boarding his getaway ‘copter, and she’s the one who can’t live with the thought of losing her life of ease by admitting her culpability. Bet she won’t look so hot in prison orange. In “Secret Santa,” Kris Kringle falls out of the sky and lands hard in the middle of Central Park. But when Castle and Beckett investigate the jolly old man, they find out that he may have been more naughty than nice.
This is also Kate and Castle’s first Christmas together, but how will they manage to go mistletoeing while keeping their relationship a secret from Castle’s family?
Castle’s home life is one of my favorite things about this series. They’re one of the most functional families on TV and given that Castle’s a single dad, he still manages to get it right most of the time.Mistletoe Kiss: Why don’t Castle and Beckett kiss under the mistletoe at work? It’s the perfect–and probably only–opportunity they’d get to do so without Gates catching on. If their relationship is the main focus of the season, we’re okay with that. But *SPOILER ALERT* lack of kissing under mistletoe and gift-giving are disappointments!Identifying Santa: It’s not everyday our detectives are too efficient. We liked the mystery surrounding Santa’s death. His identity is revealed by the team right after the first commercial break. But we’re okay with it since the investigation has many twists and turns that revealed this Santa’s desire to do good.Turns out Santa was shot and he wasn’t really Santa (surprise), he was a former financial planner who gave up his rich lifestyle to play Santa all year round. The clues lead the detectives to Santa School where they meet a Santa with a pilot’s license and a grudge against the victim. But this Christmas story has more twists than a Whoville hair-do. It involves a mortgage scam, a $30,000 clock, a red helicopter and a nice family who are more than just Santa’s next-door neighbors.
The case was interesting, but it was the holiday chatter that made this episode sing. Castle wants to celebrate in his usual, over-the-top style but for the first time ever his daughter and mother have places they’d rather be on Christmas Eve. No problem, since it’s his first Christmas with Beckett — only she ends up having to work. Or does she? Right away it’s clear that she’s not comfortable with Castle’s holly cheer, maybe because she lost her mother around Christmas and the holiday brings up nothing but bad memories.
In the bromance department, Ryan cancels his usual Christmas Eve plans with Esposito because now he has a wife and plans that revolve around a sexy Santa nightgown. In one of several poignant moments, Ryan talks with his best friend about his wife’s desire to have kids. He’s worried about bringing children into such a messed up world, but Esposito assures him that he’s ready to become a dad. Very sweet. On Christmas Eve, after the murderer is caught and put away, Castle prepares for what he expects to be an evening alone. But surprise, not only does his daughter and mother decide to stay, Beckett shows up, too. I’m not a huge fan of lovey dovey, but I really did love their gentle kiss in front of the Christmas tree.
As for Esposito, alone on Christmas Eve, he uses his free time to return a valuable item to the woman who lived next to Santa. She’s so moved by the gesture she invites him in for dinner and I wonder if this could be the start of a new romance in his life.
Overall, I enjoyed ‘Secret Santa’ more than I thought I would. I especially loved how they customized the Castle title card to fit the Christmas theme. It was adorable.
