Meanwhile, Andy skypes in from his boat, and Toby convinces several guys in the office to grow mustaches in honor of "Movember".A fly-on-the-wall "docu-reality" parody about modern American office life, "The Office" delves into the lives of the workers at Dunder Mifflin paper supply company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Regional manager Michael Scott (Steve Carell) is a single, middle-aged man who is the boastful tour guide for the documentary. With unshaken enthusiasm, Michael believes he is the office funnyman, a fountain of business wisdom and his employees' cool friend. He has no clue that his employees tolerate his inappropriate behavior only because he signs their paychecks. Painstakingly trying to be liked and to look cool, Michael comes off alternately absurd and pathetic. His prize possession is his "World's Greatest Boss" mug -- which he had to buy for himself.

Chore Wheel: Yes, it should definitely spin!  And Kevin yelling ‘big money!’ was great. Actually, the cold open was the best part of the episode. Seriously.

Roy, The Return: Good to see Roy. If anything it brings back fond memories of early Office. Also, gravel. Who knew?!

Piano Man: It was a short sequence, but Roy sitting down at the piano to bust out Billy Joel’s “She’s Gotta Way” was pretty awesome. Pam’s reaction was also good.

Clark Duke: Watching Clark put the moves on Erin via a fake newscaster job is both creepy and funny, so it’s a win-win for the night. His disappointment when Andy shows up with Erin is hilarious.

Pete Quote: “No, Clark is not my friend. He’s the douche that sits next to me in the office” It’s all in the fine delivery from new cast member Jake Lacy.

Dwight: His, “The nanny state is over!” line was a highlight of an otherwise blah storyline with Nellie.

Secrets and Lies: Jim keeping his new job from Pam is doing its part in adding doubt in Pam’s mind. The Oscar-Angela-Senator plot remains interesting, even when it’s touched on in passing, as was the case in this episode.

Phyllis: Phyllis and hubby Bob going at it at Jim and Pam’s table during Roy’s wedding party is marked as a highlight.

Hmmm….: Does the scene with Erin and Pete in the diner mean something is possibly in the cards for a romance? Just sayin’….

Best Line: Meridith wins the night – again! – with: “I’d take that mustache ride.” Speaking of Walter Cronkite, of course.

I haven't seen the BBC original and after seeing the "American version" and seeing how much more people enjoy the UK version, I'll definitely have to look into it, because I love this show! Certainly the acting is a little bit over the top at times, but I haven't found it to be so distracting.

If the jokes are taken straight out of the original, I think that's unfortunate, but since I haven't seen the original yet, IGNORANCE IS BLISS! The writing is hilarious. The acting is a little over the top at times, but I don't find it to detract from the writing.
